Our aim is to provide high quality, individualised, client centred care to service users in their own homes in the same way we would expect our own loved ones to be cared for at home. Our staff provide care for people who are older, or with physical disabilities, hearing and or eye sight difficulties, terminal illness and Cognitive problems such as injuries to the brain.
Rural Care was established in 2016 by Kerry Johns and Lesley Yeo who have a vast amount experience in the Health and Social Care sector, both having worked for the NHS for many years and will always be available day or night for any queries you may have. The main reason for establishing the agency is to provide personal care to service users in towns and predominantly rural areas and outlying villages. We have recognised that there is a shortfall in the social care sector for these people.
We are based in Bideford and have two teams providing care in villages around Bideford and Holsworthy and all other surrounding areas. The Bideford team covers Littleham, Buckland Brewer, Woolsery, Northam, Monkleigh, Parkham and Westward Ho!, the Holsworthy team covers Bradworthy, Chilsworthy, Clawton, Bulkworthy and Pyworthy.
Rural care provides experienced staff, who have had relevant training in all aspects of care needs and will assist the service user to stay at home where possible and to remain independent. Care needs will be tailor-made to each individual’s personal requirements and will be reviewed on a regular basis. Service user choice, dignity and respect will be at the forefront of our assessments when planning and implementing care.
